Job Description

Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: Up to £72,000 p.a. + Excellent Employment Benefits
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Mansfield
Hours: 4 on 4 off (Shifts Available)

Overview:
We are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Mansfield that is heavily investing in its engineering function, equipment reliability, and long-term site performance. This role is electrically biased and plays a key part in minimising downtime, improving efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement across a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
• Electrical fault-finding on production and site equipment
• Working with 3-phase systems, motors, inverters, drives, and control panels
• Fault diagnosis and basic interrogation of PLC systems (Allen-Bradley and Siemens)
• Reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Diagnosing sensor, relay, and control circuit faults
• Supporting machine upgrades, installations, and electrical improvements
• Liaising with production to restore equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all work complies with electrical and site safety standards

Requirements:
• Proven experience as an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Strong electrical fault-finding ability within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems
• Exposure to PLC fault-finding (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens)
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently on shift and make sound technical decisions
